These beans are a white beans variety characterized by its great size and its intense white color. Extremely tender and tasteful in Spain is very common to cook them in clay pots together with deli like chorizo or meat. It is a high nutritive value food perfect for stew but also an ideal addition for salads. Its name comes from La Granja palace located in the middle of the forests in center Spain where they were first cultivated.
